What is
PressuRITE?
PressuRITE™ is a digital refrigerant pressure controller used to operate commercial refrigeration compressor/condenser equipment, large commercial air conditioning equipment, condenser head pressure (via fan cycling operation) AND water-cooled condenser heat pump loop control (to eliminate nuisance pressure trips, compressor failures and mechanical labor-intensive re-set problems).
It not only allows the equipment its operating to Save Energy previously wasted but it eliminates refrigerant loss AND makes pressure control easier, faster and simpler. It also COMBINES 3 or 4 pressure functions into one controller ...where previously, with old-style mechanical switches, it would have taken at least 2 separate devices to do the same job.

PressuRITE™ uses its “digital based” electronics to read the signal from an electronic pressure sensor (part of this product) that is attached to a commercial/industrial refrigeration unit's compressor system (at either its High Pressure, Low Pressure or Oil Pressure piping connections) to sense internal system operating pressures which in turn, are translated by its micro-processor. PressuRITE™ will then turn the unit “on” or “off” based on user-defined set-points and limits to very accurately control the unit's compressor or condenser fan.

The Product Group provides a separate hand-held, digital display interface device called an SUT (Set Up Tool) which can be used by the installing technician. PressuRITE™ can be “set-up” in seconds either in the field after the controller is installed, or in advance if he so chooses…
because the controller “remembers” the programmed settings even after power is removed.

Because it's digital, it is very accurate in sensing and controlling the equipment it's applied to... much more so than existing, older design “capillary and bellows” devices which are now used. The installing technician simply sets the control “on and off” set-points via some very simple button selections (just as one would use a calculator), calibrates the sensor(s)/transducers and then attaches those pressure sensors to the same location that any older capillary-based device would normally attach to...and the product is ready to function.
The physical installation process takes the same amount of time as the current, old-style bellows controls, but the set-up for controller operation takes only about 60 seconds…not 45 minutes…that's over 75% faster! It also helps eliminate accidental, needless release of refrigerant into the atmosphere because now, once it's installed, the technician needn't ever re-attach refrigerant service gauges to that system again just to perform routine maintenance. Instead, the SUT connects to PressuRITE and in seconds, all of the setpoints and pressures in the system are displayed for the technician to see if the unit is performing as it should without refrigerant gas release… or dirtying their hands!
